A hanger type shot blasting machine carries the workpiece on a hook that rotates in front of the blast wheels, so every face of a casting or forging is exposed to the abrasive stream without manual handling. It is the standard choice for medium-sized parts that can be hung safely: gearbox housings, valve bodies, pump casings, forging blanks, welded frames and structural components. Cycle time depends on part geometry and the number of hooks.
